Rather than telling a single story, Campeones weaves together a series of interconnected tales based on the characters' family ties, friendships, and rivalries, aiming to paint a realistic portrait of a lower-middle-class neighbourhood in Mexico City. The situations presented are authentic and will resonate with viewers.It tells the story of the Duarte brothers: Ciro, a traditional family man who is about to retire from his job as a meatpacker, and Chucho, a boxing promoter who tries to encourage his nephew Valentín - Ciro's son - to dedicate himself fully to the sport. Meanwhile, Valentín will experience a story of love and heartbreak between Carla and his true love, Isabel.
