Overview

After spending over 20 years in prison for the murder of her friend Laura, Maja is released and returns to her hometown. At the age of 40, without a job or friends, she has no choice but to move back to her family home with her parents. Determined to leave the past behind and return to normal life, she tries to find her way among old corners and old acquaintances. She also clashes with the local community, which, however, remembers her mainly as a murderer from newspaper headlines.
