Overview

The life of Fermín, a young and attractive priest from the village of La Isleta, becomes complicated when his cousin Isaac and his wife, Ana, move there. He is almost immediately drawn to Ana. When he discovers that she harbors the same feelings, a fierce inner struggle erupts. Ana, for her part, feels an unpayable debt to Isaac for having rescued her from her difficult and tragic past, and she too must confront the nightmare of having to sacrifice her own happiness out of loyalty.
