Match Point (2026)

Perfect school tennis player Sun and indie, arts-track boy Bay have feuding fathers. Their families own competing dim sum restaurants on Krong Thong Road: Sun's family's old, traditional shop Saming Phon Fai, and Bay's family's Merlion, a new spot famous for its shumai. When Bay enters a tennis tryout to annoy Sun and Sun loses due to an injury, the principal orders a rematch. In turn, their fathers Chun and Bee strike a deal: whichever family loses must close their dim sum business for good. When the day of the match arrives and circumstances push them to take up representing the school as a doubles pair, the two keep it a secret from their fathers. As they train at a resort outside the city and begin to open up to each other, Bay and Sun make their own wager: if they win the men's doubles championship, their fathers must allow them to date; if they lose, however, they'll never see each other again.
