Overview

Alexander Litvinov belongs to the generation of Russian clerks. Glossy magazines impose on him a lifestyle he cannot afford; his environment demands success and professional ambition from him. Alexander's real estate career is not going particularly well; his last chance to turn things around is to get hold of a plot of land that once belonged to a pioneer camp. However, the land is occupied. Strange research is being conducted there. The aliens want to find out how humane humanity is and whether it's time to shut down the test site called Earth. To save civilization, Alexander must learn to live by different values.
