Overview

Nastya is a talented violinist graduating from music college and dreaming of entering the conservatory. Egor Gromov, a renowned musician and first violinist of the Moscow Symphony Orchestra, attends her exam; he had graduated from the same college himself a few years earlier. A shared love for music brings the young couple together, and they realize almost immediately that they are in love. However, the beautiful and modest violinist catches the eye of Edik, the nephew of a prominent politician. Their lives take a drastic turn: Egor soon finds himself in prison, while Nastya is left all alone—without money or a home, and with a child to care for.
